Well, after procrastinating for a looooong time and looking over a few different CMS frameworks, I decided to redo things in Joomla... the biggest things driving this were:

• I was getting tired of manually coding each page
• Gallery2 component seems to fit the bill
• Other available modules in case I decide to do other things with the site
